We are currently working with RPS, Halcrow and Costain to design a road improvement scheme between Gilwern and Brymawr and take it through ES and AIES for the Welsh Government. The scheme passes through the Usk Bat Sites SAC, of which Lesser Horseshoe Bats are a qualifying feature. Extensive and innovative mitigation is therefore require for these bats.
As an independent ecological consultancy, we provide innovative expert services promptly and at reasonable rates. We are based in the Southwest of England but offer nationwide services. Services include: bat surveys and other protected species surveys; Phase I and NVC habitat surveys; ecological impact assessments; and European protected species licence applications.
