On a hot day in early July, three of our staff, Richard, Tom and Sarah, attended the Species Recovery Trust’s excellent course on Beaver Ecology, Survey, Conservation and Conflict Resolution, tutored by Derek Gow. It was great to see the more subtle field signs, such as browsing of bramble (a favoured food plant). Thanks Derek and SRT for a great day. We are looking forward to spending more time out on the River Otter honing our skills!
